Stephen R. Elville, J.D., LL.M.

Stephen R. Elville, J.D., LL.M. is the Managing Principal and Lead Attorney of Elville and Associates, an estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning firm located in Columbia, Annapolis, Rockville, and Baltimore.  His work as an attorney for the past 24 years has been centered in elder law, special needs planning, and estate planning.

A member of many professional organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, Steve works to offer peace of mind to clients by creating solutions to their needs through counseling, client education and leading-edge legal-technical knowledge. 

Steve is a seasoned speaker and educator, and each year presents through many webinars, workshops for businesses and their employees, conferences, and continuing education events.  Steve and Elville and Associates maintain a strong focus on education for their clients, their family members, and the communities they serve.

Steve was named to the Maryland Super Lawyers list for a ninth time and eighth consecutive year in 2024.  He’s also had a feature story written about him in the national Super Lawyers Magazine about the Elville Center for the Creative Arts, the firm’s charitable organization he founded in 2014.
