Natalie's Bio

Natalie Knott, MAT., Ed.S., BCBA., LBA-NC

I am currently a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Special Education Advocate in Charlotte, NC. I have worked in the field of special education since 2009. I received my Master’s in Teaching Special Education from University of SC, Columbia, SC in 2012 and an Ed.S degree in Literacy from Converse University, in 2020. My passion is advocating for resources and services for special needs students and their families as well as providing assent-based, trauma-informed ABA therapy. I am constantly learning so that I can provide my clients and their families with the best possible care. I completed the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Special Education Training 2.0 in August 2024, so that I could better support parents and students who are navigating the special education system. I am a member of COPAA and APBA. I discovered my life quote a couple of years ago when working with a little 3-year-old, non-vocal, autistic boy. He was wearing a shirt that said “I am passionate about pursuing impossible goals. The meaning of life is to accept challenges.” I am always up for a challenge.
