Katherine Gamble, PsyD
Katherine Gamble, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Greater Boston area with specialized training in developmental neuropsychology. She has worked for over two decades assessing the needs of children with developmental disabilities, genetic disorders, complex medical profiles, and learning disabilities. Throughout that time, she has provided educational consultation to parents, assessing program appropriateness, attending IEP meetings, and participating in mediations, settlements, and Board of Special Education Administration hearings.
Dr. Gamble sees children for neurodevelopmental evaluations from infancy to age three, and for neuropsychological evaluations aged three and up. She specializes in working with very young children, assessing a variety of issues, and with children of all ages who have developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum and other complex presentations.
Dr. Gamble earned an M.Ed. in Counseling from Boston College and earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed her neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship at Healthsouth Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital where she primarily worked with children with learning and developmental disabilities. She established her own private practice in 2012 and NES in 2017. She served on the board of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society for six years, including as president. She is the mother of two grown children, one who had an IEP throughout schooling to address issues secondary to autism, so she brings personal experience and particular compassion to her work with parents.
